Join other new mums, dads and carers, and learn about the importance of singing and reading to your baby. Discover songs and rhymes that babies love and learn about books your baby will enjoy.
Babies aged 0-12 months.
Come along with your newborn baby and discover how your library can help support your baby’s growth and development. Learn how easy it is to share books and songs with your baby and the importance of these early literacy years.
A special Rhyme Time suitable for babies and toddlers up to age three. Babies and toddlers love books with textures and colour and being moved to the rhythm of stories, songs and rhymes. They love being close to you and other babies.
Come and enjoy some free play with LEGO and let your imagination run wild!

Songs, rhymes, stories and an activity suitable for pre-schoolers ages 3-5 years. Storytime introduces children to a wide range of children’s books, stimulates new ideas and interests, helps develop language skills and provides a chance to socialise.
Explorer’s Club is a hands-on, creative program for children in prep to grade 6. Dive into independent learning through games, craft, collaborative play and activities that reward a love of reading and exploration.

Grab a book, grab a beanbag and get comfortable in our read-a-loud corner and listen as we read aloud some of your favourite and new fiction books. Suitable for any age who wishes to listen.

We’re bringing YOUR favourite stories to life! Join us at our Pakenham Library weekly during school terms from 4pm to 5pm on Thursdays for a fun filled hour as we find new ways to explore, create and experiment with a favourite book. Ages 6+
Build, play and learn with our LEGO clubs across Casey Cardinia Libraries. Construct imaginative builds, meet other LEGO lovers and foster an enthusiasm for problem solving and creative thinking. For Children in Prep to Grade 6.
A fantastic weekly opportunity for parents & children to engage and build together. All ages welcome.
Saturdays 11am to 3pm

Endeavour Hills Library
Wednesdays 4 – 5pm.
Fuel your child’s curiosity about the world in this monthly inquiry session designed to bring real world learning opportunities to the library. Meet guest speakers on a range of topics, build and solve science, technological and engineering problems. The program is suitable for home schooled and distance education students aged 6-12, however all are welcome to come along.
Strap on some goggles. Slip on your white coat. Enter the science lab and join other budding scientists for an hour of spectacular science experiments and hands on activities.
The lab will open once a month (February to November) and registration is required to enter.

Bunjil Place Library – Second Thursday of every month, 4pm to 5pm
Explore the exciting possibilities of STEAM activities including LEGO, Art, Drama, Technology, Science and lots more at a club for all primary school aged children. During School terms only.
Take your Scratch programming skills to the next level. Discover Python – a widely used, text-based programming language. This program is suitable for those who have completed at least one term of Scratch. During School terms. Ages 8-12 years old. Free but bookings are essential.
Join Andrew from Whatbox Creative each week to explore drawing, pastels, perspective and acrylic painting all taught to help develop creativity and self-expression! Classes run weekly on Fridays from 31 January through to 27th March. Ages 8+.
Book once and you will be booked in for all dates.
Scratch – Where Coding Begins!
Discover amazing possibilities with the language that computers use at our weekly Code Club! Your first Code Club will introduce you to basic coding skills using the “Scratch” language. As your skills develop you will start to work at your own pace and get creative with coding.
For ages 8-12 years. Weekly during school terms. Free but bookings essential.
Calling all little sparks… Enter the science lab and join other budding scientists in conducting experiments and hands-on activities. The lab will be open once a month and registration is required to enter. February to November. Ages 5-7 years.
An introduction to basic coding skills using Scratch during school terms. For children in Prep to Grade 2. Free but bookings are essential.

Looking for some help with a tricky homework question? Bring your problems to one of our drop in Homework Club sessions at Bunjil Place Library. Our friendly staff and volunteers will help you find the answers you need. Suitable for Primary years and Early Secondary years. BYO homework!

Love to read? Want to share your passion with others? Join the Teen Bookclub for monthly gabfests on the best and sometimes the worst in YA fiction and popular culture. Teen Bookclub is recommended for ages 14-17, new members always welcome!
Bunjil Place Library
Meets every third Thursday of the month – 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Meets first Wednesday of the month – 4pm to 5pm.
Make your next drawing reach a power level over 9,000 by coming to our Anime and Manga Club every second and fourth Friday of the month at Bunjil Place Library. Try your hand at drawing characters from your favourite series and watch some anime. Genin (beginner) to Kage (masters), all illustrators are welcome and snacks are provided. Suitable for ages 12+.
Every second and fourth Friday of the month – 4pm to 5pm excluding school holidays.
