BIG Summer Read 2021-22 Winners

We are delighted to announce the winners of our BIG Summer Reading challenge.  Thank you to all that participated (we had over 500 of you!) from the Casey Cardinia region.

First Prize Winner

Zanelle, 9 years old.
Zanelle is a regular at our Endeavour Hills library and read 41 books in the challenge. She’s a huge fan of David Walliams’ books. Zanelle wins an iPad for her efforts!

Second Prize Winner

Evan, 7 years old.
Evan visits our Cranbourne library and read 17 books during the challenge including some very funny Pig The Pug stories! Evan wins a $200 Rebel Sports voucher.

Runner Up Prize Winners

Each runner up receives a $50 Robinsons Book store voucher.

Gurkreet, 11 years old.
Gurkreet visits Pakenham library and read 95 books (wow!). Gurkreet will make great use of their $50 Robinsons Book store voucher!

Pippa, 3 years old.
Pippa and her parents read 58 books as part of the challenge, amazing effort, congratulations you little legend!

Yashica, 11 years old.
Yashica is a Hampton Park library visitor and read lots of Captain Underpants as well as starting on the Nevermoor series.

Alicia, 7 years old.
At 7 years old, Alicia still read her way through 28 books including Ella and Olivia and the 13th Storey Treehouse.

Lawson, 11 years old.
78 books in two months? No problem for Lawson who visits our Endeavour Hills library and loves Tom Gates books and graphic novels.

Jude, 12 years old.
A total of 50 books were read by Jude over the holidays including most of the Ridley Pearson Kingdom Keepers series.

Jake, 7 years old.
Cranbourne patron Jake wants to be the very best reader, like nobody ever was! With 24 books to his name during the challenge, he’s well on his way. Jake is a fan of Pokemon books!

Kavin, 13 years old.
Kavin is a big fan of reading non-fiction, with lots of Horrible Histories and science books recorded for the challenge.
