The theme for 2018’s NAIDOC week is: Because of Her, We Can!
NAIDOC stands for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’ and runs from 8 – 15 July 2018.
Come along to the Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens on Wednesday 11 July between 10am and 2pm and celebrate the invaluable contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made, and continue to make, to our community’s rich history and culture.
There will be a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, Bushfood walks, traditional weaving, Indigenous Hip Hop Workshops and a free BBQ!
This is a free event, suitable for all ages.
