About Book Groups
Book Groups have been formed in the community by people who enjoy reading and discussing the same book.
Book Group members may work together, live in the same area or be a group of friends who have known each other for years.
Each month the members of the group read a different book, trying new authors and styles of writing. Rather than going to the added expense of buying a new book each month, Book groups can borrow group sets from their local library.
A large collection of book sets are available from the library. Each set has 10 copies of the same title plus a comprehensive folder of discussion notes. Most of the titles in this collection are recent releases and about a third have Australian authors or settings.
