Library Closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic: All Casey Cardinia Libraries Closed: From Thursday 19 March 2020
Cranbourne Library is part of the Casey Indoor Leisure Complex. It is the second busiest library in the CCL network with more than 200,000 visits every year.
It hosts the Local History Archive and the Narre Warren & District Family History Group.
Cranbourne Library first opened in a building in Sladen Street, next door to the old Council Offices, on 25 November 1978.
It opened at its current location on 19 June 1996.

Cranbourne Library is proud to have launched Access Keys on the Access Ability Australia web site.
Access Keys provide visitors with increased confidence to attend new experiences by providing customised accessibility guides that empower individuals with improved information, increase confidence, promote awareness and inclusiveness whilst supporting equality.
