Our Local History Librarian oversees local history resources for the library service and maintains the Local History Archive at Cranbourne Library, supports local Heritage Groups and works with Councils to promote and preserve our history.

Casey Cardinia Libraries offers patrons access to the rate and minute book records generated by the former Shires of Cranbourne, Berwick and Pakenham. This is a project between the Cardinia Shire, the City of Casey and Casey Cardinia Libraries.
Rates available are:
Berwick Shire Rates: 1875 to 1965
Cranbourne Shire Rates: 1863 to 1950
