Deliver joy to fellow Casey Cardinia residents this Christmas and support locals in need who are doing it tough and need a little help over the festive period.
There are two ways that you can help:
Donate non-perishable food items, toiletries & unwrapped toys to local charities
We have partnered with local charities and are collecting donations on their behalf. Your donations will be distributed by them to the most vulnerable families in our community. Donations can be brought to any of our libraries Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm or to the Cardinia Mobile Library which operates every day, except weekends.
Donate money to our Home Delivery Service
We are welcoming donations to our Home Delivery service, any donation, big or small can help keep this service going. If you have enjoyed this service for free during 2020 and want to see it continue, please help us out.
We will be taking donations right up until Christmas Eve.
Transit provides meals within a safe and encouraging environment for those who are finding life difficult.
A three course meal is provided free of charge on Mondays at 5pm and Wednesdays at 12pm as well as on the last Sunday of the month at 9.30am. These sessions provide an opportunity for lonely folk to connect with each other and to make use of the services we provide, including Centrelink staff, Housing and Mental Health agencies, Hairdressers, Shower trailer and Orange Sky Washing van. In addition we will provide food support on Mondays from 6pm-7pm and Wednesdays from 1pm to 2pm as well as Food Support for families on Thursdays from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Clothing, household goods, help with removals and direct financial help in emergency situations is also provided
CISS provides a crisis intervention, information, and support service to people in the southern suburbs of the City of Casey, including Cranbourne, Hampton Park, Clyde, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst, and the Coastal Villages.
Their services include information, referrals, crisis intervention services (including the provision of emergency relief), counselling, financial counselling, Education Assistance Program, advocacy and negotiation services, No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS), Infolink Outreach Program and ADHD Support Group. We aim to inform, support, and empower our local community.
All services are free and confidential, and aimed at providing a non-threatening, effective, and welcoming one-stop-shop for clients
It all began in 1994 at the end of the 90s recession when two ladies, from two different local churches, decided that Endeavour Hills needed an Op Shop to help supply financially struggling families with cheap clothing and household goods.
The Andrews Centre has provided a number of programs since its opening in 2000. All services are aimed at making sure that even the most financially disadvantaged get the help they need.
At Hampton Park Community House, we provide counselling sessions for individuals, to assist you through life’s many challenges.
We seek to provide a service that is hopeful and encouraging, by focusing on your strengths, fostering growth and building resilience. We work with you to clarify your goals and provide ongoing support.
Wherever there is hardship or injustice, Salvos around Australia will live, love and fight alongside others to transform Australia one life at a time.
We’re thankful for the generosity of those who partner with us to provide much needed funds and practical assistance to children, families and individuals around the country. Because of you, we’re able to make a difference and provide hope to those who need it.
