Halloween: Scary Stories

Writers beware, you’re in for a scare!

Calling all spooky story writers, for the month of October submit your scary story online for a chance to win a prize.

Age Categories and Word Limits
Ages 8-11 (50 – 400 words)
Ages 12-15 (350 – 1000 words)

Prizes
Winner of each category will receive a “Scary Book” prize, valued at $50.

Not sure which age group to enter? Your age as of October 1, 2020 will tell you which age group to enter.

Competition opens
Thursday 1 October 2020 at 9am (AESDT)

Competition closes
Saturday 31 October 2020 at 5pm (AESDT)

Competition winners will be notified
Thursday 7 December 2020
