Fizz Kids Online – Create a Bubbling Volcano
Tuesday 17 August, 4pm
Join Fizz Kidz and make your very own bubbling volcano! First we will create an awesome volcano environment and then using two household ingredients we will make it explode!
This session is online so download the Zoom app and follow the link in your booking email. Suitable for ages 5-10
Designing Sustainable Houses with Casey Tech School
Tuesday 17 August, 6pm
Learn to design your future house and make sure it’s as sustainable as possible with a little help from the team at Casey Tech school. In this online workshop (held on Zoom), we teach you the basics of Energy3D a free program that will let you build a model of your dream house and measure it’s impact on the environment. From solar panels to the layout of your rooms, this will get you thinking like a real architect and a scientist too!
Attendees will need a computer to participate in this event, Energy3D will not work on mobile devices. Suitable for ages 14+.
3D Printing and Designing Online with Edvocate
Wednesday 18 August, 4:30pm
Find out how 3D printing works and how you can design your own 3D models online for free! Join the team from Edvocate on Zoom as they teach the basics of TinkerCAD in this online workshop to celebrate science week 2021. No experience is necessary, just bring your imagination and engineering hat!
To create your own 3D designs, you will need to have access to a computer with mouse/scrollpad and keyboard. Suitable for ages 8-14.
Mad About Science on Zoom
